Welcome to Queensland Masters Athletics

Queensland Masters Athletics Association (QMA) promotes fitness, fun and friendship through a range of athletic activities for everyone, from beginner to age group elite standard. Membership starts from 30 years through to 100+.

Competition is conducted in 5 year age divisions, .e.g. M40-44, W55-59. The association currently has around 400 members from all walks of life, all levels of ability and all parts of Queensland and northern New South Wales.

QMA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS APRIL 13 AND 14, 2019

A listing of events on each day has been posted on the Calendar page. 
A detailed program will be posted soon
Entries will be open from the start of March. 

BRISBANE REGION COMPETITION

CHANGES TO QMA BRISBANE DATES AND PROGRAMS:

  • The meet scheduled for 2 March - Handicap Day - is now CANCELLED (due to other bookings at QSAC)
  •  Handicap Day will  now be held on Saturday 16th March 2019 - late entries will be accepted up to 2nd March.
  • The meet on 23rd March including the MEN'S THROWS PENTATHLON will now be held on the Main Track at QSAC.
    The first pentathlon event - Hammer Throw - will be held on the SAF track. 
     

PLEASE REMEMBER: You must register and pay ground fees at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for your first event. This will allow them time to input entries, print start lists, etc. and try to keep the program running on time.

The Australian Masters Athletics National Championships will be held in Melbourne
from the 26th to the 29th April 2019.

Oceania Masters Athletics Championships 2019 (Mackay)

The 2019 Oceania Masters Athletics Championships will be held in Mackay, Queensland from 31 August to 7 September. Click here for information on program and how to enter. Note that the program has recently been revised so check their website for the latest information.

2018-19 QMA Season Membership

Membership renewal for South Queensland members for 2018 -19 was due on 1st October. 

All members competing at Brisbane or Gold Coast competitions or other designated master's athletics competitions are required to be current financial members of QMA, so renew here now: QMA Registration
