Welcome to the 2024 Cross Country season. 

 

Please find below dates and locations of the local Brisbane cross country events plus championship races.

Series 4                       18th may          Anzac park Toowong

Series 5                       25th May          Limestone Park Ipswich

Series 6                       1st June            Honeyeater St Park Upper Kedron

Series 7                       8th June            Toowoomba Showgrounds

Series 8                       22nd June         Capalaba State College

Series 1                       30 June             Minnippi park (rescheduled due to flooding earlier)

 

QA Cross Country Championships 27th July Victoria Park Brisbane

To register for these events go to the QA Competitions Website. Please note due to the cost of Championship registration, QMA does not add a championship fee to the QA entry fee but there are no QMA medals.  QA awards medal in 10 year age groups.

QMA HALF MARATHON CHALLENGE

 

 

 

​

Dates:              Between 1st April and 31st  October 2024
Location:         Any certified half marathon across Australia

​

Run any half marathon (or more if you are keen) anywhere in Australia during the above period. The event must be held on a certified course, with electronic (chip) timing.

AMA Postal Half Marathon Championships 2024

​

Dates:              Between 1st April and 31st  October 2024

​

There is a list of eligible half marathon events on the AMA website.

For information, rules and to enter, go to the AMA Website

AMA Medals will be awarded in each age category.

​

QMA and AMA Marathon Championships

These will be held in conjunction with the Gold Coast marathon on 7th July 2024.
Enter either or both events (on payment of small extra entry fees) when you enter the GC Marathon.

QMA Short Course Road Walk Championships

This will be held in conjunction with the QRWC Postal Challenge event

WHEN            Sunday July 14th, Start time 8 am

WHERE          Logan River Parklands, Beenleigh

EVENTS:

 QMA Masters Men 10km

 QMA Masters Men 5km (M60+ option)

 QMA Masters Women 5km

 

QMA Championship fee of $7 is payable. QMA medals will be awarded.

QMA Long Course Road Walk Championships

This will be held in conjunction with the QA event.
